1
Mariner’s Cove

Located at the edge of the Broadwater, Mariner’s Cove is a premier waterfront precinct where luxury yachts line the docks, offering a glimpse into the world of million-dollar maritime lifestyle. The boardwalk, crafted from weathered timber, is home to some of the region’s finest seafood restaurants, also a popular spot for a leisurely troll with ocean views. Whether you’re dining, yacht-spotting, or embarking on a cruise, this marina offers a blend of sophistication and maritime charm.
2
Broadbeach

Broadbeach is a vibrant coastal destination on the Gold Coast, where urban sophistication meets laid-back beach vibes. The striking skyline, adorned with sleek high-rises and luxury resorts, provides a captivating contrast to the golden sands and rolling surf. Aerial views of Broadbeach capture this seamless fusion, with expansive beaches beneath towering buildings—making it a popular scene for photographers and travelers alike.
Beyond its scenic beauty, Broadbeach is known for its vibrant dining lanes, buzzing weekend markets, and lush parks like Kurrawa Park, a popular family hub and festival venue. Whether you’re exploring casual eateries or fine dining, the area offers an exceptional culinary experience. Broadbeach comes alive during events like the annual Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival, attracting thousands of visitors. In 2024, the Gold Coast welcomed 13 million visitors, with Broadbeach at the heart of the action.
3
Burleigh Heads

Burleigh Heads, is a vibrant coastal town located along some of the Gold Coast’s most stunning beaches. The area was originally known as Jellurgal by the Indigenous Kombumerri clan. In 1840, surveyor James Warner mapped the Moreton Bay coastline and named the headland Burly Head due to its imposing size. Over time, the spelling evolved into Burleigh Head, the name we know today. Burleigh quickly grew in popularity, especially after the 1920s with the introduction of the railway. Today, it is famous for its crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and dramatic headlands surrounded by pandanus trees. The relaxed, village-like atmosphere is complemented by trendy eateries and a lively community.
At the southern end of the beach lies Burleigh Heads National Park, offering scenic walking trails, including the iconic Oceanview Walk. This path features panoramic ocean views, cliffs, and sightings of whales during migration season. Burleigh Heads is a perfect blend of beach and nature, with plenty of opportunities for relaxation, adventure, and wildlife spotting.
4
Burleigh Heads National Park

Established in 1947, Burleigh Heads National Park was created to preserve the coastal cliffs, rainforests, and marine ecosystems. Of deep cultural significance to the Kombumerri people people, the park offers a blend of subtropical rainforest and eucalypt woodlands, and stunning ocean views. The Oceanview Walk, a 1.2-kilometer trail, leads visitors along the cliffs, offering panoramic views of the coastline and opportunities to see whales during migration.
Burleigh Head National Park sits atop 23-million-year-old volcanic rock from the Tweed Shield Volcano. This ancient geological formation contributes to the park’s distinctive headland and rugged coastal scenery. It’s a vital conservation area, home to diverse wildlife and plant species, including over 150 bird species. The park provides a peaceful escape from the city, allowing visitors to connect with nature while enjoying stunning vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Gold Coast coastline.
5
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

As one of Queensland’s most popular wildlife parks, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary offers visitors the unique opportunity to interact closely with Australia’s native species, including the chance to hold a koala—a rare experience in the country. Home to hundreds of native animals such as kangaroos, crocodiles, and lorikeets, the sanctuary provides a variety of hands-on encounters and educational activities, with daily shows and feeding sessions that captivate visitors of all ages.
Founded in 1947, the sanctuary began as a small aviary and has since expanded into a large conservation park dedicated to preserving Australia’s unique wildlife. It is located just 20 minutes south of Surfers Paradise, making it a short and scenic drive from the heart of the Gold Coast.
Admission ticket: AUD $70 for adults and $50 for children.

Additional Tour Description
The Gold Coast, often dubbed Australia’s playground or the Glitter Strip, is one of the country’s most iconic coastal escapes.
